Description

The battery in my key was dying, so rather than buying a new key, I cut open the shell and replaced the battery. I didn't really want to glue back together the original mangle shell, so I modeled a version that snaps closed. It's no longer waterproof, but it's easier to open due to the snap features (not as robust as other connections, but it worked well for my purposes). 12May2026 Edit: There was a request to have a version that didn't have any overhangs, so I added some models where these are removed (no_chamfers versions).
