These snow caps are very difficult to 3d print. Included model files to let you change the model easier. When i 3d printed them i did inside first outer layer, and 0.06 layer height. I made custom settings for the clip mechanism. It needs the best layer bond possible so no fan is recommended for best layer adhesion. I snapped off the front clips when removing snow from my car on one of them. They still hold fine without them, as long as the rear clips are intact. Make sure to get the snowcap all the way back when installing. Some i 3d printed for the local community had interference issues with the hood opening. I guess they had looser hinges. Haven't broken any with that, but they just barely touched the hood on those that had the issue. Highly recommended to use some body filler and sand then paint. Going to make a v2 some time in the far distant future when i got the time. Will shorten them a little and replace the front clip mechanism. (Picture is of low profile variant, also got a youtube channel for self promotion, if you care to sub to it, i do Volvo 240 content. Not been posting much however because of university and work https://www.youtube.com/@Volvo_Mew )
