This model was inspired by classic Toyota Tri-Color racing grille accessories. It is designed to be printed as an adhesive decal, a keychain, or a grille accessory. There are models for both single and multi-color printers in respective folders below. For single color printers: Print your body of choice (regular, keychain, grille) and then the corresponding "nodes" in your desired color scheme. For the grille accessory, there are little divots in the nodes that are there to give the zip ties room to fit. There should be enough tolerance for these nodes to fit. Use super glue to adhere these onto the body of the accessory. For multi color printers: A sample .3mf contains the 3 different styles of accessory. Change colors and materials to your liking. This model is parametric, specifically for the distance between the zip tie slots on the grille accessories. All files have a .step and .f3d counterpart. For all grille accessories Fusion files, there exists a parameter called ZipTieSpacing, which you can change depending on what style of grille you have. For a 2016 Toyota Tacoma, this is 1 inch. You are free to modify this design however you like to fit your grille! I'd start with the Tri Color Accessory .f3d file and design a mounting system on the back. Print settings: Layer height: .2mm Supports: none Infill: 100% OR 8+ Top solid layers (for color consistency) Ironing: On Again, the grille accessory is designed to be printed without supports. The printer should be able to bridge the internal geometry. For attaching the grille accessory to your grille, insert two 2.5x150 generic nylon zip ties, then tie around desired points as seen in the pictures below:
