I was tired of using janky third-party charging solutions in my Model 3, so I decided to purchase genuine Apple MagSafe chargers to install. The other solutions I found out there had exposed wiring and only allowed the MagSafe charging pucks to be inserted from the top. My two-piece design allows you to either feed the USB-C through the top or feed the puck itself through the bottom. This is important as I will be feeding the USB-C wires through my center console and they will be non-removeable. The design includes pins between the two parts to snap them together once you get your MagSafe pucks in place. Print in PETG or PLA, 20% infill. Supports are needed only for the tabs on the bottom piece. No supports necessary for the top piece. ======== Edit 03/10/2025 - I've added some new (untested) files that should fit the new 25W MagSafe pucks that came out a few months ago. Let me know in the makes if these need any tweaks. I'm still using the older 15W pucks that have slightly different dimensions. If you'd like to tweak this at all, I created it in OnShape.
