
This model is excellent for you if you don't want to spend big money and time to replace a simple plastic part. Print using ASA or higher temperature/weather-rated filaments. I recommend doing sanding and acetone vapor smoothing to get a smoother finish if using ASA. Use paint-safe RTV or glass silicone to seal under, around, and in between the connector. Beware of certain paints as they have metal in them, which could affect the radio signals. Supports are a must, and print with at least 3 walls and 15% infill for durability. Align the flat bottom side to the print bed before printing, or just click auto align. Steps Slide the front end of the antenna cover under the rubber lip of the existing electronics (File lip on the print down slightly if it is not going in at all). Slide the back end of the cover on and mate the two sides. Screw the two sides together using two screw (I used 3M 20mm Phillips drive screws, but realistically any screw that fits securely should work. Drill the hole out if needed). Use the plugs to seal the screw holes (or just use silicone). Use silicone to seal under, around, and in between the two halves. Wipe away excess, test radio/communication systems and wait for silicone to dry.
