I'd made due with substitute clips for years. I've even used threaded rivets and stainless washers on the tailgate holes. Figured I'd try making my own 3d print. Printed in black PLA with a textured bed on an MK3S. Seems to fit pretty snug. Even if they fall out, you can just print more. The naming convention on the FreeCad file tells you about how many times I had to revise things to get them right. Or at least acceptable. Photos show rev 5, but rev 6 fits more snugly. Textured bed makes the texture close enough to the Baja plastic. Baja photo shows washers for tailgate clips, with 3d printed replacements all down the right hand side.
