An adapter for easier and faster turning of the screw that holds the spare wheel on many Citroën and Peugeot cars. I designed it for a Citroën Xantia but it should fit on many others of the same era. I’ve included a list below with cars where it might fit, if you gave it a try please share your results in the comments. I designed two versions, one for use with an ½” extension and ratchet, which works well for fast work in the workshop and another version with a 19mm hex so you can use the same tool that you use for your wheel bolts. The hex version is designed to sit (almost) flush with the carpet so that you can store it right where you might need it. If anyone wonders, I know the original tool for this screw is at the other end of the wheel wrench but I find it rather annoying to use. Printing: Since it usually is not a particularly demanding application it will work with many materials, I chose PETG for mine. To get a strong tool I recommend the wall thickness listed in the table below. With my printer and settings the fitment is good but depending on your setup minor adjustment like hole expansion could be needed. For the printing orientation I recommend the upside-down position the stl-files are already oriented in. With my settings it printed well without supports, but depending on your print settings you might benefit from using support when printing the hex-version.
