Description

This is a mount I designed for the Scangauge II. It was sized to fit on top of the steering column of a 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner, but it may work with other vehicles. The housing has a slight taper and stops in the rear corners to locate and Scangauge and should be tight enough to keep it in place on rough roads. The bottom of the housing has a slight indentation for mounting double sided tape or velcro tape.  I tried some 3M double sided tape, but ended up having better luck with the velcro tape supplied with the Scangauge II.  I printed this in black PETG and it's been holding up well so far. This printed well on an Ender 3 S1 Pro at .2mm layer height using the generic PETG setting in Cura. I recommend printing front side down. You should be able to bridge the corner sections on the rear without supports.
