If your Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 has a broken left side panel mounting tab/ear (the small plastic piece that the bolt passes through), this 3D-printable fix might help. On my bike, the original plastic support snapped off. It’s part of a larger molded section, so replacing it would be costly and unnecessary. I designed this small reinforcement kit to restore strength to the mounting point. The download includes two STL files : 2 mm thick piece – goes on top of the original screw holder (main body side) 0.5 mm thick piece – goes underneath , with the original broken part sandwiched between them I used epoxy glue to bond the printed parts and the original broken piece together — it adds strength and keeps everything firmly in place. Print settings used: Material: ABS plastic Layer height: 0.2 mm Outer walls: 8 Increased bottom layers for full infill and durability This reinforcement restored full function to my panel mount. It’s a simple and sturdy fix for anyone who’s broken that small plastic ear and doesn’t want to replace the whole assembly. Hopefully, this helps someone else keep their Interceptor panels secure and rattle-free!
