I created this mount in Tinkercad to allow me to add a very strong, low-profile, aerodynamic radio antenna to a Rivian R1 vehicle. You need something like the Megawatt cargo crossbar adapter, or something else that mounts to the crossbar eyelets on the vehicle and provides a flat surface to mount the plate on, raised about 13-15mm. A standard low-profile 90 degree NMO cable mount should then sit comfortably on the plate, while the plate is affixed to the adapter. Note that NMO mounts come in 3/4" and 3/8" varieties. This is made for 3/8" (specifically a Midland MXTA24) and if you get a 3/4" mount, you may need to space up the round hole by a few mm to fit. I printed the plate in 304 stainless steel at 3.2mm thickness, this is VERY solid and doesn't flex, but may be slightly too thick for a standard "vehicle rooftop-install NMO mount."
