This replacement gear is a perfect fit for the power window motor found in many Mazda models from 2003 – 2015 and possibly other years. Use it to repair motors that have a gear with broken teeth causing failure of the window to move up or down or causing a clacking sound when moving the window. This is only the larger of the two gears, but seems to be the more likely one to break as I found that was the case on two of mine (after 20 years, not bad). This will work in both the left and right side motors. Disassemble the original motor by prying the two clips and separating the two halves by prying them apart. Clean any debris of broken teeth from housing. Pull the broken gear assembly out and transfer the hub and rubber damper to onto the replacement gear and reassemble. I've been using mine for a while with no issues.
