I made this model for replacing my car's broken cigarette socket cover, while also modifying a cigarette lighter splitter (https://amzn.to/3N2cWEw) to fit in that same spot. This replaces Part# (85535-76020). There is no spot for a spring. Use a 3mm drill bit to chase the holes on the socket mount, and insert a 3x38mm pin. to retain the door to the socket.
