Renault Twingo Mk1 (First Generation) Cabin Air Filter Frame – Two-Piece Clip Design This is a precise reproduction of the original Renault Twingo 1 interior air filter frame (Copy of OEM: 7701409323). Unlike the original one-piece design, this version is split into two parts that clip securely together, making installation significantly easier. Main advantages: No need to remove the bonnet/hood screws No more awkward bending and forcing the frame into the shaft Simply insert both halves and clip them together from inside the Air filter housing Important notes: The geometry is an exact copy of the original part, including all different edge spacings and contours. Note on the original design: The original frame tends to twist and warp. Because of this poor geometry, the air filter does not sit optimally and gaps appear in the airflow path. Additionally, the filter sits too low in the water/condensate tray. You need to apply a water-repellent EPDM foam seal (5-10 mm thick, 10 mm wide) onto the sealing surfaces of both parts for proper function. Best option: Buy self-adhesive EPDM foam tape – easy and clean application. You need also the Filter. Size 30 mm x 264 mm x 119 mm (OEM: 7701409324) Printing recommendations: Print in PETG, ABS/ASA or a temperature-resistant material (PETG could work but is not mandatory) Use at least 3-4 walls and 25-30% infill Supports are recommended for the overhang at the filter insertion area A Twingo logo is embossed on the top surface. To make the logo clearly visible, print the first layer at 0.12–0.16 mm height. If you prefer no visible logo, print the first layer at your standard layer height (e.g. 0.2-0.28 mm). The original filter frames are extremely rare on the used market. This two-piece design is therefore a very useful upgrade for every Renault Twingo Mk1 owner.
