The new design brings significant improvements while maintaining the proven core functionality. Improvements in V2 Simplified design without additional ball joint No metal rod reinforcement required More stable and streamlined construction Improved printing efficiency Technical Details Recommended Mounting: For maximum stability, drill two M5 holes in the center console under the holder's mounting points. Alternative: VHB tape (not recommended for long-term use due to reduced surface area in V2). A version with pre-printed holes and one for self-drilling is available. Material: Tested with PETG or ASA-X for durability and heat resistance in automotive environments. Compatibility Specifically designed for the Renault Modus (2004-2012). The holder integrates seamlessly into the center console design. The console is easy to remove as it is only clipped in and can be replaced with a new one for about €20 if needed, such as when selling the car. Notes on Magnetic Mount For the magnetic mount, I recommend a universal magnetic phone holder that can be easily screwed on. The magnetic mount itself must be purchased separately.
