Description

The HELIX Ci3 M100 loudspeakers fit into the door of the Porsche 987. However the chassis has mounting positions, that can be mounted in two directions.  In the original position, the loudspeakers sit on the screw holes only - the chassis of the speaker is not flat on the door panel. This seemed odd to me, since the low frequency speakers come with an extra sealing to ensure a complete contact of the door panel and the speaker. In the alternate position, where you open the bajonette mount of the speaker's chassis and turn the mounting ring by 180 degree, the membrane of the speaker would slightly touch the door panel. To ensure, that this does not happen, the distance ring can be added. It has a small recess ensuring a clean fit of the speaker to the door panel.  You need longer screws to mount the speaker - the original once are too short. Print in TPU - very simple.
