I liked my older car that had gas cylinders to raise the engine-bay hood. The USA market Lexus UX has a rod you manually put in place instead. I purchased a ~$30 kit on Aliexpress similar to this one on Amazon which worked OK, except there was a gap between the hood bracket and the hood which didn't inspire confidence. So I designed this shim to clip-in before you do the install. Print with 0.2mm layer height with a higher-temperature material. PETG is probably OK since these parts are far away from the engine, but ABS, ASA, or nylon would be better.
