This is a custom-designed speaker adapter plate specifically engineered for the 2015–2025 Lexus RC F . While the factory front door speakers are technically 8-inch units, their proprietary mounting pattern and shallow housing make it nearly impossible to install high-performance aftermarket drivers without a proper spacer. This adapter was originally modeled to house the Focal ISU200 8" shallow component woofers , but it will work with various aftermarket 8-inch speakers requiring significant clearance. To withstand the harsh environment inside a car door (heat and vibration), I recommend the following: Material: ASA or PETG (Avoid PLA, as it may warp in a hot car). Infill: 30% or higher (Gyroid or Grid for structural rigidity). Walls: 4–5 perimeters to ensure the screw holes have plenty of "meat" to bite into. Supports: Minimal supports may be needed depending on your printer's bridging capabilities. Just fyi, what I did on installation. I applied a layer of foam gasket tape or you could also use cell foam between the adapter and the door metal. I used another ring of foam between the speaker and the adapter to prevent rattle, and everything was great.
