EN Does your Hyundai i20N (model years 2020-2024) suffer from an annoying rattle coming from the back seats, especially when driving over uneven surfaces? You're not alone. The source of the noise is excessive play in the factory plastic latch bracket where the seat's metal pin locks into the car's body. This is a reinforced, redesigned replacement bracket that eliminates that play, providing a snug fit for the locking pin and permanently silencing the rattle. To ensure a perfect fit for every car (as manufacturing tolerances can vary), this project includes: Multiple bracket sizes with slightly different tab lengths. A dedicated "fitment gauge" that you can print quickly to determine which final bracket size your car needs, saving you time and filament. A 3-part design for each bracket, which allows for optimal printing orientation, resulting in stronger parts and a cleaner finish without complex supports. I have been using this in my own i20N for weeks, and the annoying rattle is completely gone. Print Settings Printer: Prusa Core One (or any well-calibrated FDM printer) Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20mm Infill: 25-40% Filament Material: PA12 Nylon, ASA, PET-G Detailed Print Recommendations: I strongly recommend printing this part in PA12 (Nylon) or another temperature-resistant material with good layer adhesion and some flexibility, like ASA or PETG . I personally used Fiberlogy PA12 (without Carbon Fiber) for its excellent mechanical properties, which are ideal for the small retaining clips. Supports are necessary for the overhanging clips and screw holes. Be prepared for some careful post-processing to remove them, but the end result is worth it. For optimal results with PA12 on a Prusa printer, I have included my PrusaSlicer profile in the files section.
