Description

This is a custom phone mount for the GMC Sierra or Chevy Silverado (2014-2018) with the center console. There is a raised lip at the front of the console and this mount fits into the top of it. I created this mount because I want to be able to plug my phone in (to use Carplay), still be able to see it upright, and keep the mount/cord out of the way. This design points the phone directly at the driver and is non-adjustable. You will need to print out these four parts separately and join them together manually. The two supports should be 10mm away from the edges of the mount. I modeled the holder on an iPhone X with a thin leather case. You may need to substitute your own phone holder and that should be simple enough. To finish off, I epoxied the lightning connector into the bottom so it's just a simple slide from the top to connect. I designed using Fusion 360 and included the .stp file if you want to modify.
