This is a cover that fits the front radar of the Geely. The front radar can be pulled out rather simply with a screwdriver. This cover tries to prevent that as much as possible and maybe delay the thieves and convince them to maybe go to the next simpler-to-take-out-radar-of-a-Geely. The cover is mounted with 2 zip ties at the back of the grill. you need 4 zip ties for this. Take two zip ties and cut the heads of another two. Mount the cover and slip in the zip ties as shown in the pictures. All 4 heads of the zip ties rest inside small wholes designed for them. This makes them impossible to cut in a simple way with a cuter. CAREFUL: when mounting the cover, at the back of the radar there is a connecting cable. Make sure that the zip ties once tight wont cut or touch the cables leading to the radar. ATTENTION: Once the cover is mounted and the zip ties are tight it will be really hard to remove the cover (which is the whole point) you will have to cut the print itself. For the mount to be strong it needs to be printed standing (which unfortunately is the printing position that takes the most time) It needs to be printed with PETG or ABS or ASA or Nylon. PLA is not recommended due to the heat and UV. Im also suggesting printing the 4 “hands” with denser infill because they need to be stronger than the rest of the part. The printing position mandates using supports at the tip of the hands. Also attached is a 3MF with the infills and supports I suggest to print with.
