Overview Heavy-duty 12mm speaker adapter ring for Fiat 500 / Abarth 500 (Mk312) (Tested with Fiat 500 312). Designed to replace flimsy commercial plastic brackets with a rigid, resonance-free 3D-printed solution. Fits standard 165mm (6.5") aftermarket woofers (DIN standard). Features 12mm Thickness: Ensures perfect clearance between the speaker magnet and the window glass mechanism inside the door. (Tested with Fiat 500 312) 8x M4 Heat-Set Insert Pockets: Uses standard brass inserts for solid, repeatable speaker mounting. Wire Notch: Integrated cable passage at 6 o'clock position to keep wiring in the dry area. DIN Standard Bolt Circle (155.5mm): Compatible with Eton (PRA/POW), Hertz, Focal, Alpine, and most 165mm aftermarket speakers. Bill of Materials (BOM) per door: 1x Printed Adapter Ring 8x M4 Heat-Set Inserts (e.g. Ruthex M4x8.1) Remark: The heat inserts are on the opposite side of the speaker to ensure proper seating. 8x M4 Stainless Steel Screws Butyl Sealing Tape (between door metal and ring) You may add a layer of silicone, rubber or similar between the ring and the speaker to ensure that the mount is air tight. Recommended Print Settings: Material: PETG, ABS, ASA or PC (Tested with PETG - Do NOT use PLA – temperature in car doors during summer easily exceeds PLA's heat deflection limit!). Walls / Perimeters: 4 to 5 (Crucial for solid threads and insert retention). Infill: 30% - 40% (Gyroid or Grid). Layer Height: 0.20mm - 0.28mm (printed fine with 0.4mm or 0.6mm nozzles) (Tested with 0.4mm nozzle). Supports: None needed.
