This is a knob modeled to match one that had broken off due to age on a pre-A 356. The switch paired with this knob was used on several Porsches, as part numbers 356.61.045 (356 pre-A/A), 644.613.501.00 (356 A/B/C), and 901.613.043.00 (911/912). Like any other automotive interior part, this should be printed with PETG or another temperature resistant filament. No one wants to grab a half-melted PLA knob. I found Paramount3D PETG Ivory to be good match to the original beige/ivory plastic. Original parts were beige/ivory, and black. Print the knob with the hole end down, and with a brim to help with stability since this is a pretty narrow print. This model was a close enough match that it self threaded on one of the switches I had available, but you can always use a tap drill to make it nicer. You'll probably find luck with M3.5 or M4. Finishing with some light sanding, polish, and/or paint can help get that shiny look if you need it.
