I wanted to upgrade the courtesy door lights for my 2018 Maserati GranTurismo; however, there are no aftermarket LED lights that are a direct replacement. I modeled this adapter to fit an available product. I glued the new light to the adapter and now the new complete unit slides up into the door in the same way as the original. Wiring required some additional work also. Push forward slightly and then pull down and the light should release. Unplug the light. Print the adapter. I used ASA, but you could use ABS or PETG. The open end of the adapter should point toward the front of the car. The new light has the plug in the back and the clip toward the front of the car. Use superglue to attach the new light to the adapter. Use a female plastic housing from the electrical connector kit and insert 2 male connectors. Then attach female connectors to the other ends. The female connectors attach to the prongs in the light. The female plastic housing pushes on to the factory plug. I used some shrink tubing to cover the female connectors to ensure that there was no contact between them when plugged into the light. Be sure to wire the positive to positive and negative to negative to get the light to work.
