I recently put a MaxMate tri-fold style tonneau cover on my ‘21 GMC Canyon and wasn’t pleased with how the rear of the cover wouldn't sit flat on the tailgate. Upon looking into it, I realized that the rear stake pocket of the truck is in the way, so the rear latch of the cover is farther forward, located almost to the folding area. Because of this, the rear to the cover had very little pressure holding it down, so it would basically flap in the wind. I decided to come up with this print that allows you to move the rear bar(which the cover's clamps are hooked to) back closer to the tailgate.  With the MaxMate tonneau cover, to move the bar, you just unscrew the (2) self-tapping screws on each end. You then take a non-marring hammer and you knock the bar back. From the inside corner of the tonneau frame to the centerline of the rear bar should be around 5 7/8" - 6". That distance can vary, depending on where you placed the tonneau cover on the bed. Since this is 3D printed, I wouldn't reef down the latch. I just made mine snug enough to lightly compress the weather strip. I would also recommend printing them is something decently tough that can handle the heat of summer. I printed mine out of regular ABS with 5 perimeter walls.
