Phone holder of Chevy Volt. Clips into existing phone slot, but holds phone firmly and up enough so the cord doesn't touch the end of the slot. This way the phone doesn't flop around on turns. Normally when you put your phone in the slot one end rides on the cord connector and the phone is free to flop around when you are turning which is really not good for your phone's connector. This holder presses into the cars slot at the point nearest the back of the car, but before the slot narrows. (See photo) With the flanges pointed toward the front of the car. The holder says in the slot under it's own tension. The phone slides in and out smoothly. I designed this for my iPhone XS, but you can easily trim the center of the wall curve if your phone is thicker. If you need to trim I would do that with a knife/file vs sand paper because you don't want sand particles loading into the plastic that later might scratch your phone screen. I printed this in PETG because my car can get pretty hot. I commute on a twisty mountain road. Wish I'd made this thing years ago! The V2 model is much improved in terms of not being as phone-thickness dependent/give a more consistent grip on the phone even at cold temperatures.
