Save yourself $250 for a new programmed key fob by fixing the deteriorating buttons. The flexible plastic/rubber portion of my Cherolet key fob turned to goo. It made a mess and some buttons tore out. I cut out the remaining buttons, scrapped off the goo, and printed new buttons. Theres a file for the top (flip for other side), middle, and bottom buttons. These buttons go into the holes of the key fob. The face plate goes on top of everything.   I used PETG and hot glue to glue the face plate onto the buttons and key fob. Has worked well for 1 year. ABS may work better because the hot glue did soften the face plate when I glued it. Printed with 0.6 nozzle which worked well enough.  A smaller nozzle would be best for the face plate symbols. Has worked for a year now. Will work for many GM veicles with the same style keyfob, including  Chevrolet Camaro (2010-2016) Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) Chevrolet Equinox (2010-2017) Chevrolet Impala (2014-2018) Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016) Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) Public CAD files are here for easy adjustments and remixes.
