Description

The Chevrolet Express van knob swap for the A/C controls is a common mod. This allows you to use the same style of knob for your light switch, so all of your knobs can match! 3MF Notes : The base file uses ABS as the primary filament. ABS or better is recommended due to the temperatures inside the cab. Destructive File Notes : If using the Destructive file, you will need to cut 5 millimeters off of the oem knob stem.  Assembly: Gently pull the transparent center piece out of the Express knob. Apply a dab of glue (E6000, for example) inside the knob. Insert the printed center piece into the Express knob. Remove the light switch assembly from the truck. Remove the light switch cover by gently lifting the three tabs around the edge. Insert a small flathead screwdriver through the hole at the base of the knob. Position the tip of the screwdriver through the small opening in the knob shaft. Apply pressure to the switch shaft while gently prying upward. The knob should pop off without damaging the switch shaft. Slide the replacement knob onto the shaft. Using a soft surface, press the knob firmly into place. Reinstall the light switch cover. Reinstall the light switch assembly into the truck.
