This adapter allows you to use inexpensive Amazon 1.5 DIN stereos in your Chevrolet OBS. It is compatible with 1995–1998 dashboards. 3MF Notes : The base file uses ABS as the primary filament and PETG as the interface layer. If you do not have an AMS, it is important to use the 3MF file labeled NO-AMS . Assembly: Use four screws to attach the mounting ears to the adapter, leaving them slightly loose. Slide the assembled unit into the truck's stereo opening, ensuring that the mounting ears snap into place. Align the front of the assembly with the A/C controls below. Pull the passenger side forward approximately 0.5 mm to compensate for the gap in the OEM dash. Use a white paint pen or similar marker to draw an alignment line across each of the two gaps between the adapter and the mounting ears. Remove the assembled unit. Align the marks you made on the adapter and mounting ears. Tighten the screws. Insert the metal stereo mounting sleeve included with the stereo. Fold the metal tabs outward to lock the mounting sleeve into place. Insert your stereo.
