Designed for the R1T & R1S, this phone mount uses the clip designed by @LanceCRXsi to locate a ball mount close to the front of the factory charging mat. The ball is 17mm so you can use practically any mount, charging or not. I used mine with an official MagSafe charger from Apple and a holder purchased from Amazon. The 17mm ball is set at an angle to allow the phone to tilt down more - to be oriented more towards the driver. You WILL have issues printing the ball mount in you use Cura unless you check the “Keep Disconnected Faces” option in the Mesh Fixes menu. I remixed the ball mount in SketchUp and for whatever reason SketchUp doesn't play nice with Cura. The 17mm ball is a remix from this model on Thingiverse. The base is printed upside down (as in the STL). You will need supports due to the hole. I have printed the clip portion both with and without supports. Both seem to work but the version without supports looks a bit ugly. I printed the ball mount standing up, with supports. I glued the two together with a medium viscosity cyanoacrylate.
