THIS IS BASED ON https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:885677 When you replace the original radio with a standard 1-din radio you get two sockets to the right and left of the radio. This uses these two sockets as a support to place the tablet in front of the radio with the standard console(pre-rework). Feel free to change the base to fit your tablets. I'd print the socket fittings with a tough resin for the necessary detail and strength(I used eSun Hard and Tough, but the blu resin is cheaper and probably just as good for this). I print in ABS for sturdiness and used smooth on epoxy after gluing everything together with super glue to make sure it looks perfect and add cohesion to every part. After epoxy I sanded from 80-2000 grit and painted so it doesn't look 3d printed. If you wish to use it feel free to, I made this for my own use but maybe someone will find it useful. Edit: Added base V2(base_frxx.stl) for greater durability. Category: Automotive
