This reinforcement eliminates that flex and makes the setup feel much more solid. For complete rigidity, a fully custom tower would be the ultimate solution — however, these are quite expensive, and since this is a brand new bike I wasn't confident how Aprilia would handle potential warranty claims with a custom tower installed. This kit was, in my opinion, the good middle ground. As demonstrated in this video, the difference is noticeable: 📹 https://www.youtube.com/shorts/J7xiosi4Yug Note: Even with this reinforcement installed, there is still some visible flex in the upper part of the device holder — but it is substantially better than without it, and in practice it causes no issues while riding. Design Main piece — split design: The main structural piece is split into four parts to allow installation with no tower disassembly. If you prefer a single-piece version you can combine the parts. Distance block: The distance block is not bolted to the main piece. Adding holes to connect them would weaken the main part, and since the block is captured in place and eliminates the room for flex, bolting them together is IMO not necessary. That said, I may revisit this decision ;-) Materials I printed mine in PC-CF from Prusa, but other materials like ASA or ABS should work well too.
