Description

This platform is made to attach to the main mounting bracket for an Alpine X409-WRA-JK radio for the Jeep Wrangler JK. This platform gives external modules to the head unit and display a place to mount securely, without flopping around loosely in the dash. The modules can be either zip-tied or secured with tape to the bracket. In my application, I attached the iDatalink Maestro unit and the Alpine KAC-001 external accessory controller to the bracket. I left the Alpine camera module and the SiriusXM module remain separate as they are both mounted well out of the way of the main unit head area. I recommend printing with ASA due to heat stress the dash will experience in the sun, but PETG should do the trick as well. I would avoid PLA completely for this application.
