
Theses pods can be 3d printed in ASA with magnets enclaved for the 3d printed cover. They use a generic Chinese lamp that you can find on various seller. Let’s be honest, it’s not Tuningarts.uk carbon fiber pods with PIAA xenon lights, but that’s the DIY way ! Disclaimer : I used them for 1000km, so it’s probably still a prototype at the moment ! In use When used, they act like a mix of everything : The light add a bit of power compared to the bi-xenon of my Turismo. The beam is very wide and I added a slight angle on the holder for the lamp to act like « rally » corner lights. The cover will let the DRL light work. The final assembly of theses pods is supported by the bumper grill instead of using the oem fog light mounts. It can be a bit heavy for the grill so you need it to be well mounted on the bumper. The lamp This lamp can be bought with 4 DRL colors : White, Yellow, Blue and have 23119 as the product number. The color is close to oem xenon color : Probably around 4000k, it’s probably 90% pure white, but not 100% white like « Used » Xenon lamp. It’s marketed as a 216grams 72W IP68 12v/24v with a 120° radius flood wide spread beam for the DRL and 15° for the for the « Extreme distance ». Furniture You will need 2 metric screws + nuts to mount the lamps on the holder as the one included are a bit short to be mounted on my 3d printed holder. You will need 6 screw + bolts to hold tight the holder on the oem bumper. You will also need a pack of 24 magnets 5mm ø with a height of 2mm because each holder need 6 of them, each cover needs 6 of them, and you have 2 pods. 12 are not strong enough to hold the cover while running. Optionally : I heavily suggest 4 male and female Amp superseal 2 way connectors (6 to be safe cause they are sometimes difficult to use at first). Some Add-a-fuse on the 12v accessory socket to have a +12v on the engine bay when you start the car. Assembly You will need to remove the front bumper.
