Position and orient the template correctly. Trace the required cutting geometry with a marker. Remove the plastic template before cutting. Cut the tube using an angle grinder, bandsaw, hacksaw or another suitable metal-cutting tool. Deburr and finish the cut surfaces. Repeat the process for all required runners. Rotate and arrange the prepared tubes into the required collector configuration. Check the mating surfaces. Tack weld the collector assembly. Verify symmetry, alignment and outlet geometry.
