In an effort to make myself and my wife as comfortable as possible on long trips, I designed and printed these clips that cling onto the sun visor and allow a 100mm (3.9") x 300mm (12") piece of 1.5mm (1/16") material ( hard plastic, balsa wood, carbon fiber, cardboard, etc. ) to be extended to block the sun from the side windows. I have included a DXF file for cutting! You will want to print these from a higher temp filament like ABS, Nylon, etc. As even PETG softened in the  50+C 130+F of a cars interior in the summer. Designed for a 718 Cayman, these probably work with other Porsche models. I have two STL versions available ( comes in a printable pair; drivers / passenger side ): Porsche Visor Clip STL - this is the final version that will still allow the vanity mirrors to be opened if you slide the panel all the way over. Porsche Visor Clip Remixable STL - this is a simpler 20mm version that is just the extrusion. It would block the mirror, but would allow you to remix the design easier. visor_blade DXF : I had to notch them in order to fit the middle visor clips when closed. I could have also shortened them to about 11", but this worked out. Added a little gaffers tape for grip. Enjoy!
