My wife drives a Subaru Impreza and her passenger sun visor broke one day. Turns out a plastic connector piece broke roughly in half. Unfortunately you can't buy just the one piece that broke, you have to spend $90 to buy a whole new visor! So to save a little money I figured I'd design a replacement part. This is specifically for a 2017 Subaru Impreza Premium Sport Hatchback. It is only for the passenger side visor, but I imagine that a mirrored version would work on the driver side visor. I have included both the Fusion360 archive and a generated STEP file so that this can easily be remixed. Apologies in advance if remixing my design is a pain, I'm still relatively new to 3D CAD and this is the most complex thing I've designed so far. Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: Ender 3 Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 40%+ Notes: Since this piece will be supporting the weight of the visor I recommend at least 40% infill and probably 4+ walls is a good idea too. I printed it face down with supports, which should mean you'll want to rotate the design 180º to flip it over. Category: Automotive
