Made this for a friend's 1990 Sierra which has no radio, just a large gap exposing speaker wire. It slides in easily and will stay in place, but it's not snug, so you could use a bit of glue if you want to secure it really well. The benefit of it being easily removable is that it is much easier to clean, and you can just remove it to shake out that typical car dirt which always gets stuck in the storage areas.
