For a much improved version, please have a look here .   This is a replacement for the 1968 Cadillac vacuum manifold (5 port version) which is part of the climate control vacuum circuit and is located on the motor firewall. In my trusty old Cadillac, one port of the original vacuum manifold broke. Since this is pretty unobtainable, I decided to create my own model. Two of the ports have an airflow restriction of 0.5 mm (0.020"). Make sure either your printer does print them accurately or use a small drill of matching size to adjust the holes accordingly. The vacuum diagram (see attached pictures) only mentions one restriction. However, when I disassembled my broken vacuum manifold, I discovered two intentional restrictions - one on the check valve (right outlet when viewed with mounting tab pointing south), supplying vacuum to the control head vacuum valve and another one in the single outlet with smaller diameter, connecting to the neutral switch vacuum valve. The original part also has an integrated vacuum check valve on the port which leads to the control head vacuum valve. Since this is not printable, I used a cheap aftermarket check valve which suits the purpose ( t2 t3 t4 vacuum check valve - Google Search ). A few recommendations: use ABS or any other heat resistant filament (PLA won't do) layer height 0.1 mm (better details and overhangs print better) use supports, but only “touching buildplate” ones This first version tries to be as accurate as possible to match the original part. However, printing it using FDM is not easy. It might be better to use SLA instead, but I only own filament printers so this is untested. Currently, I'm designing a version which is easier to print and will upload it once it is done.
