My Chevy (Volt plug-in hybrid) has done me proud over the 9+ years of service, but it is starting to show signs of age. One of the little things that broke was my sun visor clip, so the visor swings back and forth depending on whether I'm accelerating or braking. Online searching showed pricing for a replacement costing between $4 and $8 for each. But wait, I can just design a replacement, and print it for $0.40 each. Cha-ching! It worked so well that I replaced both of my visor clips with my own design! Fits Chevy Volt 2011-2014. General Fitment (this part MAY fit other Chevy or GM vehicles, if you'd like to try): Screw hole diameter: 4.9mm Visor rod diameter: 8mm Base dimensions (the part that goes through the ceiling liner): 14.2 x 26.7mm, 10.3mm height. If you'd like to change the height to fit your GM vehicle, DM me to make a request! Tips: Print it out of PETG/ABS/ASA. ASA is most recommended due to its UV resistance properties. Plus it gives you added margin in being able to survive the heat inside your parked car. This is NOT a model for PLA. 2-3 walls will be sufficient. The more walls you print with, the stiffer the clip becomes and it may not be as easy to clip in and out. This is a great model to take advantage of organic supports available in PrusaSlicer 2.6.0 (and Cura). Taking Advantage of Organic Supports: If you add this to your collection and/or download the model, please click the LIKE button and give it some STARS ! Remember, you can earn some Prusameters if you post a pic of your make! Plus, it would just make my day. ;-D Happy Printing!
